Learn about the Story
From the [Learn] screen, choose [The Tale of the Border Islands] and you can read the story of the Border Islands, which have been designated as Japan Heritage. You can also watch the promotional video that explains the charms of the Border Islands in an accessible way.
Learn about the Cultural Properties and Nearby Facilities
Select [Iki], [Tsushima], [Goto City] or [Shin-Kamigoto Town] to find out information about the cultural properties on each island and the island’s recommendations (specialty products and nearby facilities).
Route Information
From Cultural Properties and Nearby Facilities Information
From the Cultural Properties and Nearby Facilities Information (Specialty Products and Nearby Facilities) details screen, select [Route Information] and the route information from your current location to the cultural property or nearby facility will launch.
From Set Destination
From [Route Information], choose [Set Destination] and a list of destinations will appear. Choose the place you want to go to from the list and the route information from your current location to your destination will launch.

Take Photos with AR Ancient Times Camera
When visiting one of the cultural properties, select [Camera] and various characters(*) for each cultural property will be displayed. Take photos with the characters and the cultural properties that are only possible here.
Post to Photo Gallery
Post your photo to Twitter with the hashtag #kokkyo_shima and your photo and message will be displayed on the photo gallery on the website.
Collect the Characters
When you take a photo when a character is displayed on screen, it will be added to your [collection]. A variety of characters will be displayed(*) for each cultural property.
